About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Professional to join our team at Chaudhary Vet Prof Corporation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat diseases or abnormal conditions in animals through physical examinations and laboratory tests
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to ensure optimal animal health
  • Supervise and train staff to maintain high standards of animal care and welfare
  • Administer budgets and manage resources to ensure efficient operation of the animal hospital or clinic
  • Conduct research to improve animal health and welfare, and to develop new treatments and products
  • Enforce government regulations and standards for animal health and welfare
  • Perform routine, emergency, and post-mortem examinations to diagnose and treat animal health issues
  • Provide a range of veterinary services, including obstetrics, dentistry, and euthanasia
  • Oversee the overall operation of the animal hospital, clinic, or mobile service to farms
  • Supervise animal health technologists and animal care workers to ensure high standards of animal care and welfare
Requirements
  • Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and work under pressure
  • Physically demanding work and ability to stand for extended periods
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Repetitive tasks and ability to work in a team
