Job Title: Delivery Driver

BC LTD is seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • Provide customer service and professionalism in customer interactions
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Keep a record of items received and delivered
  • Load and unload goods
  • Sort packages for delivery
  • Follow directions and read maps
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids
  • Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Local transportation/travel experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical demands of the job, including handling heavy loads
  • Steel-toed safety boots and cellular phone required
