Job Title: Delivery Courier

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Courier to join our team at BC LTD. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Keep a record of items received and delivered
  • Load and unload goods
  • Sort packages for delivery
  • Follow directions and read maps
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids
  • Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Plan service routes
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Tight deadlines
  • Work under pressure
  • Physically demanding
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Overtime required
