Manufacturing Line Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Line Technician to join our team at Pharmascience. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing lines, maintaining equipment, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Key Responsibilities- Execute line equipment dismantling and set-ups, ensuring the integrity of parts and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Responsible for completing parameter sheets, updating them as required, and ensuring that production lines meet set deadlines.
- Participate in component and bulk replenishment, supporting the proper operation of production lines and putting products into cases as needed.
- Document and explain downtime causes, execute tests during production, and maintain accurate records.
- Carry out cleaning of parts, equipment, and premises, adhering to established procedures and sequences.
- Check and approve cleaning of parts and equipment, ensuring operational needs are met.
- Plan and prepare equipment parts needed for the next order, reducing start-up time and optimizing production efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area at all times, identifying and suggesting solutions to improve line efficiency.
- Participate in line purges, complete work orders or repair orders, and follow up on their execution.
- Apply and respect GMPs and health and safety regulations, executing all tasks while optimizing quality and teamwork.
- Pass on knowledge to a co-worker as required, participate in maintaining efficiency measures, and analyze production variations.
- Help present results with the Line Coordinator on a weekly and monthly basis, participate in preventive maintenance of line equipment, and analyze tasks and health and safety risks.
- Good mechanical knowledge and self-reliance.
- Quick to diagnose downtime causes and implement solutions to minimize line downtime.
- Capable of working to meet set standard times based on quality standards in place.
- Good team spirit and ability to work towards desired results.
- Able to participate in various analyses and suggest corrective or improvement measures.
- Good communicator and able to inform colleagues of past activities on the line, with a good team spirit and focus on health and safety at work.
- Must always wear individual protection equipment and work in a standing position.
- Some meal and break periods may need to be shuffled around to ensure lines are constantly working.
- Operate a barrel-lifter to replenish lines, operate an electric and/or manual pallet truck, and handle loads up to 20 kg.
