The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEO Content Specialist to join our Digital Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling, SEO-optimized content that resonates with our target audience and drives organic growth for our websites and web properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit high-quality, SEO-optimized content for EHN Canada's websites and web properties.
  • Collaborate with the SEO Marketing Manager and Content Lead to create and implement effective content strategies.
  • Continuously update and improve existing content to ensure it remains relevant, accurate, and engaging.
  • Ensure all content aligns with EHN Canada's brand voice, guidelines, and overall marketing strategy.
  • Optimize on-page elements (title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, content, internal linking) and existing content based on keyword strategy to improve relevance, rankings, and organic traffic.
  • Prepare regular reports and analyses on SEO performance, detailing key insights, performance indicators, successes, areas for improvement, and recommendations for continuous improvement and future strategy.

Requirements

  • University degree in Arts, Communications, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS, and Google Analytics 4.
  • 1+ years of agency or in-house experience in developing copy and executing an SEO strategy.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft O365 Suite.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proven experience in creating high-quality, SEO-friendly content that drives organic traffic and engages readers.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
