About the Role

Moffatt Supply and Specialties is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the operational logistics of our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and organizing the operational logistics of our warehouse, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and coordinating activities with other work units or departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Logistics: Oversee the operational logistics of the warehouse, including planning and organizing the movement of goods, materials, and equipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Communication: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments, ensuring that information is shared and tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
