As a Senior Consultant in our Forensics & Litigation Support division, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our clients' interests. This multifaceted team leverages both accounting and investigative skills to uphold client integrity and security. In your capacity as a trusted advisor, you will implement anti-fraud measures and address fraud-related crises, thereby minimizing clients' vulnerability to legal and financial risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategize, plan, and execute client engagements related to fraud investigations, litigation assistance, risk evaluations, and specialized regulatory inquiries across diverse sectors and disputes.
  • Assess and compute economic loss claims, offer commercial insights, prepare financial documentation, and trace funds/accounts.
  • Scrutinize financial information and contribute to the creation of independent expert financial reports and models.
  • Formulate project timelines and manage logistics in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  • Deliver industry-specific and technical knowledge through client interactions, research, analysis, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Discover innovative approaches to enhance client value; ensure that client expectations are met and foster strong relationships.
  • Lead project teams, cultivating effective client relationships while mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Engage in business development efforts and assist in crafting competitive proposals.
  • Initiate the CFF program within two years of your start date.
  • Maintain the ability to travel as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • CPA designation is essential.
  • CFE designation or a commitment to obtain it within two years.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in public accounting; advisory or consulting experience is advantageous.
  • Capability to secure Reliability Status through the Government of Canada Contract Security Program.
  • Proven experience in business and practice development.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and/or database management is a plus.
