Job Title: General Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Construction Supervisor to join our team at AWCSIT CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Job Summary:

The General Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs and materials: Conduct thorough estimates of costs and materials required for each project.
  • Prepare production and other reports: Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, including production, quality, and safety metrics.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities: Coordinate and schedule activities with other project supervisors, managers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers: Collaborate with other project supervisors and managers to ensure that work activities are coordinated and aligned with project objectives.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that a safe working environment is maintained at all times.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules: Establish methods to meet work schedules, including setting deadlines and allocating resources.
  • Requisition materials and supplies: Requisition materials and supplies as required, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in the correct quantities.
  • Supervise workers and projects: Supervise workers and projects, providing guidance, support, and feedback as needed.
  • Train or arrange for training: Train or arrange for training for workers as required, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
