Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Dusting and Polishing: Dust furniture and polish fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds, change sheets, and stock linen closets to ensure a comfortable and clean living space.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris, empty trash containers, and ensure proper recycling practices.
  • Specialized Cleaning: Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Cultural Competency: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Foreign Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition to help them integrate into the workforce.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers to help them succeed in their roles.
  • Cultural Awareness: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
