Job Title: Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at FUTURESTARS CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTRE.

Job Summary:

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our children and staff. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, and performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Dust furniture
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
  • Provide basic information on facilities
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Clean changing rooms and showers
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
Requirements:
  • Experience an asset

Please note that this is a permanent position, and the ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role. Fluency in English is required, and the ability to work 40 hours per week is necessary.
