Job Title: Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities, planning physiotherapy programs, and supervising technical and support staff. They will also be required to maintain clinical and progress reports, confer with other health professionals, and teach and/or supervise exercises to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Plan and implement physiotherapy programs to promote patient recovery and independence
  • Supervise technical and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical and progress reports
  • Confer with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients to promote independence and mobility
Requirements:
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Criminal record check
  • Child Abuse Registry check
  • Immunization records
  • Adult Abuse Registry check
  • Valid driver's licence
Work Environment:
