Job Summary

Fastenal is seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our transportation team. As a key member of our fleet, you will be responsible for delivering products from our distribution centers to branches and customer locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a safe and well-maintained tractor trailer or straight truck to deliver products to customers
  • Unload freight at each stop along your route, utilizing a handheld scanner and manual labor
  • Interact with shipping and receiving departments to ensure smooth delivery operations
  • Maintain a clean work environment within our equipment and adhere to DOT and Fastenal safety regulations
  • Comply with health, safety, and sustainability rules and expectations
Requirements
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one
  • Current Health Card or ability to obtain one
  • Haz Mat endorsement or ability to obtain one (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam)
  • Meet Fastenal driving record requirements
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of DOT/MTO regulations
  • Willingness to drive interstate routes and cross international and provincial borders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior driving work experience
  • Prior experience operating a forklift
