Job Summary

AGKS Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Transport Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping and adhering to all relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid AZ class license and a clean driving record.
  • Communication: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, as well as a trip recorder (on-board computer).
  • Travel: Willing to travel cross-border and overnight, with a valid driver's license.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
