Nous sommes à la recherche d'un artiste VFX expérimenté pour rejoindre notre équipe dynamique à Montréal. Ce rôle clé vous permettra de contribuer à la création de notre projet original tout en établissant des normes techniques et artistiques élevées dans Unreal 5 pour tous nos effets visuels.

En collaboration étroite avec notre direction artistique, vous serez responsable de la création d'éléments pour diverses disciplines, notamment l'environnement et le gameplay. Si vous êtes passionné par l'intégration et la collaboration, et que vous souhaitez jouer un rôle essentiel dans le développement d'une nouvelle propriété intellectuelle, nous serions ravis de vous accueillir.

Responsabilités :

  • Collaborer avec le directeur artistique technique, les artistes principaux et le directeur artistique pour développer et réaliser nos effets visuels.
  • Créer vos propres textures, shaders et systèmes de particules, en veillant à leur qualité et à leur intégration.
  • Préparer vos créations pour qu'elles soient facilement utilisables par d'autres membres de l'équipe.
  • Travailler avec les différentes disciplines pour garantir une qualité visuelle optimale et une production fluide.
  • Partager vos connaissances et votre expertise avec l'équipe de manière régulière.
  • Proposer des solutions artistiques et techniques en collaboration avec l'artiste principal pour améliorer la qualité et les performances.
  • Encadrer et soutenir les artistes moins expérimentés, en favorisant un environnement d'apprentissage positif.

Qualifications :

  • Ouverture à l'expérimentation et à l'exploration de nouveaux styles.
  • Un portfolio démontrant vos compétences et votre passion pour les effets visuels.
  • Compréhension approfondie des pipelines et techniques d'effets spéciaux.
  • Esprit d'initiative pour contribuer à l'évolution d'un studio innovant.
  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience dans la création de VFX de haute qualité en temps réel.
  • Maîtrise des outils et des flux de travail standards de l'industrie, tels que 3ds Max/Maya, Photoshop, Embergen, Houdini.
  • Bonne compréhension du rendu PBR et de son interaction avec l'éclairage en temps réel.
  • Expérience avec Unreal dans le développement de jeux.
  • Une expérience dans des jeux expédiés, ainsi que des connaissances en animation 2D et en substances, est un atout.
