Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled VFX Artist to join our team:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and simulate realistic fire, smoke, explosions, debris, clouds, etc. that meet all AAA technical and aesthetic standards for the project;
  • Work closely with Art leads, Lighting, Design, Sound, Animation, and Production to bring levels and features to life;
  • Create textures and/or meshes to use in particle effects with various 2D and 3D applications;
  • Support testing and inclusion of new VFX solutions, tools & workflows;
  • Use game engines to create particle systems, animations, and lighting effects;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest VFX technology and techniques;
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure VFX are optimized for performance and meet the project's visual standards.
Requirements

What we expect from you:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a VFX artist in the video game industry;
  • Degree in visual effects, 3D animation or equivalent sector;
  • Experience with tools such as Houdini, Cascade, Niagara, etc.;
  • Good knowledge of particle systems;
  • Experience with Unreal 4+ or Unity;
  • Experience with Maya;
  • Related skills in modeling, animation, lighting, etc. and related tools;
  • Good verbal communication, autonomous, strong teamwork and creativity;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Languages: English, French is a plus.
