Job Title: Childcare Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Childcare Professional to join our team at Peekaboo Childcare centre Beverly.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their needs.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and preparing crafts to promote their cognitive and social development.
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Prepare healthy snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Discuss children's progress and problems with staff members at regular meetings.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Flexibility and reliability in meeting the needs of children and staff.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a child care centre with a team of 5-10 people. A criminal record check and bondable status are required for this position.

Language:

The primary language of work is English, with 40 hours of work per week.
