Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Fort St. John Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and develop individualized care plans to meet the physical, social, and psychological needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
  • Current Level C CPR certification.
  • One year of recent related experience in an acute care setting, with a significant labour and delivery component.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate preferred.
