About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Punjabi Bites Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they are confident and competent in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring we have the right stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive excellent service, responding promptly to their complaints or concerns and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, stock levels, and other key performance indicators, maintaining accurate records of our operations.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy objects.
