About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting & External Reporting Manager to join our team at Mondelēz International. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting practices and procedures, providing and interpreting data from accounting records, and coordinating accounting services with operating needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage elements of the monthly accounting close process, ensuring accurate and timely U.S. GAAP/local GAAP reporting and the timeliness and integrity of local financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and KPIs.
  • Ensure a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our AER policies.
  • Coordinate accounting services and integrate them with operating needs, providing and interpreting data from accounting records as needed.
  • Lead projects to drive harmonization, efficiencies, and improvements to ways of working on AER processes and systems, such as SAP, SLAN, and FIT/HFM reporting tools, and build a mindset of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of comparable experience in Controllership in a multi-currency environment.
  • Canadian or US CPA required. Candidates working towards CPA certification in their last year of the program will be considered.
  • Proven hands-on experience in SAP is required, with other large ERP systems' experience will be considered.
  • Proven hands-on expert experience in Excel required, including advanced functions and large data analysis.
