Job Overview

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team at Buzz Marketing Group. This is a permanent position that requires a strong foundation in graphic design principles and a passion for visual storytelling.

Educational Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.

Work Environment

This role is set within a graphic design firm or an advertising, marketing, and public relations agency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate timeframes for completing graphic designs and illustrations.
  • Modify existing illustrations to align with project requirements.
  • Engage with clients to understand their communication needs and objectives.
  • Create and deliver realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations.
  • Produce both 2-D and 3-D animated graphics or digital illustrations.
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Oversee all production aspects for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials.
  • Consult with clients to define the overall aesthetic, graphic components, and content of communication materials.
  • Identify the most suitable medium to achieve the desired visual impact.
  • Develop graphic elements that fulfill client objectives.
  • Set guidelines for illustrators or photographers involved in projects.
  • Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic components.
  • Utilize existing photo and illustration libraries along with typography guides.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not entail supervisory duties.
