Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team in Powell River. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to patients in a variety of settings, including office and hospital-based care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
  • Participate in hospital-based care, including ER and ward consults, and management of a 4-bed ICU.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices to provide evidence-based care.

  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Full.
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory.
