About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at KCLC Properties, ULC. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel, motel, and resort facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience
    • No formal education is required, but experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Work Setting
    • Our hotel, motel, and resort facilities are located in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Tasks and Duties
    • Cleaning and Maintenance
      • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
      • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and tidy appearance.
      • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain high standards of hygiene.
      • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
    • Guest Services
      • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth guest experience.
      • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items in a timely and professional manner.
      • Provide basic information on facilities to guests, including amenities and services.
    • Housekeeping and Maintenance
      • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment.
      • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean and tidy appearance.
    Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work Environment
      • This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
    • Physical Demands
      • This role requires standing, walking, and lifting, as well as repetitive tasks.
    • Work Schedule
      • This is a permanent, full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
    • Language
      • English is the primary language spoken in this role.
