As a Retail Store Manager at PetSmart, you will be responsible for the complete management of our retail location—from the initial hiring and training of skilled staff to the implementation of strategic merchandising plans. You will set the benchmark for excellence within our stores.
ABOUT OUR TEAMS:
You will guide an Assistant Manager, Service Managers, and Department Managers towards success in the following key areas:
- Customer Engagement: Our Customer Engagement team, equipped with extensive product knowledge and a love for animals, ensures that customers receive the best solutions for their pets.
- Merchandising & Inventory: With a strong focus on store presentation, our Merchandise and Inventory teams assist pet parents in locating exactly what they need.
- Associate Leadership: Our Associate Lead emphasizes training and development, ensuring that our teams are well-prepared to support pet parents.
- Services: Our Grooming Salon and Pets Hotel work collaboratively with the Store Manager.
- Overall Retail Initiatives: You and your teams will strive to meet sales and traffic goals while executing strategic merchandising plans.
