As a Cloud Architect at Electronic Arts, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud strategy and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and distributed systems tailored for cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise innovative technical solutions.
- Address and analyze technical requirements and performance metrics across various departments.
- Maintain and enhance architectural blueprints, design patterns, and best practices in cloud computing.
- Ensure the security and compliance of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Advise on technologies and services that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Oversee DevOps methodologies including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated testing.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in cloud technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Software Architect with a focus on cloud computing.
- Proficient in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization techniques.
- Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies.
- Skilled in communicating updates and resolutions to stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience with serverless architectures and data pipeline development.
- Knowledge of distributed systems design and various database technologies.
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary for this position ranges from $160,200 to $229,100 annually.
