About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at HJK Interior Decor Inc. as a key member of our interior decorating team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and clean surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings to create a seamless look.
  • Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, creating a professional finish.
  • Advise clients on colours and choice of wall coverings, providing expert recommendations.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Estimate costs and materials, providing accurate quotes to clients.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in the trade.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to work at heights and in confined spaces.
