Landscaping Supervisor

Isidore Landscapes Inc is seeking a skilled Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our landscaping crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and construction of outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement plans for the maintenance of our clients' outdoor spaces, ensuring they are well-manicured and visually appealing.
- Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Create detailed estimates for labour and materials required for landscaping projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Organize and Direct Construction: Supervise the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other outdoor features, ensuring they are built to the highest standards.
- Plan, Manage and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of landscape construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain Work Records and Logs: Keep accurate records of work completed, including materials used and labour hours worked.
- Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure that landscaping projects are completed according to plan.
- Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment and Supplies: Source and procure materials, equipment, and supplies required for landscaping projects.
- Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Troubleshoot issues that arise during landscaping projects and provide technical guidance to improve efficiency and quality.
- Supervise Nursery and Greenhouse Workers: Oversee the work of nursery and greenhouse staff, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement work schedules and procedures to ensure that landscaping projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
- Work Environment: Outdoors.
- Work Setting: Landscape contractor.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail.
