Remedial Cement Supervisor

Magnum Cementing Services is seeking a highly skilled Remedial Cement Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day field remedial cementing operations on location and at the shop. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and mentor personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure timely arrival at location.
- Execute successful cementing jobs according to design and client specifications.
- Ensure efficient handling of day-to-day operations and critical tasks completion.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal departments, including Sales and Dispatch.
- Work with station management to maintain operation and service standards.
- Evaluate Bulk Drivers and Operators on weekly maintenance requirements and equipment rebuilding.
- Adhere to and enforce company Safety policies and ensure compliance with HSE legislation.
- Prepare end of well, end of month, incident, abnormalities, maintenance, logbook, and end of jobs tickets and reports.
- Verify load tickets and conduct incident reporting.
- Implement and maintain procedures to ensure high-level service.
- Develop and maintain strong external/internal client relationships.
- Work with management to improve policy and procedures.
- Supervise a crew on basic remedial jobs.
- Demonstrate ability to operate core pieces of equipment.
- Understand slow rate squeeze theory and competently perform operational execution.
- Understand downhole tools and coil tubing fundamentals.
- Complete Supervisor 1 sections of MAP.
- Support primary cementing activities as needed.
- Participate in training and development activities.
- Valid class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg.
- Able to work outdoors for extended periods and in all types of weather conditions.
- Able to be on call 24 hours on a 15 days on a 6 days off rotational schedule.
- Able to work in congested or confined areas and with exposure to loud noises and vibration.
- Experience as an oil and gas cementing supervisor and in operating pumpers.
- Demonstrated ability to direct and motivate the work of others.
- Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of.
- Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other software.
- Experience in the completion of reports.
- Experience in dealing with customers and dispatch.
- Understanding of cementing job design and client specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety.
- Able to perform all regular maintenance on equipment.
- Demonstrated leadership.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable, and dependable.
- Flexible and able to adapt to change.
- Team player and customer service focused.
- Demonstrated initiative and results-oriented.
