Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at J & L Oliver Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials to construct and repair buildings, bridges, and other structures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems to ensure the structural integrity of buildings.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware to enhance the aesthetic appeal of buildings.
- Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Conduct site surveys and levels to ensure accurate placement of building components.
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
