We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team at INGRID TRANSPORT INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on production and operational metrics
    • Conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and mentor drivers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance driver skills and knowledge
  • Operations Management
    • Coordinate and schedule driver activities to ensure efficient use of resources
    • Monitor and control operational costs to meet budget targets
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
    • Investigate and report any incidents or near-misses
  • Personnel Management
    • Recommend personnel actions to management, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions
    • Co-ordinate and manage driver personnel files and records
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
