About the Role
Calgary Co-op is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Concierge to join our team. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for creating exceptional experiences for our customers by providing personalized recommendations, support, and ordering of consumable goods for events and special occasions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their event requirements and create customized solutions.
- Assist customers with placing orders, arrange delivery services, and collect payment.
- Collaborate with Center Manager/department manager on event coordination and logistics.
- Follow up with customers on satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide meal planning services to help customers plan menus for their events.
- Participate in the development and action of yearly competency performance work plans and development action plans.
- Ensure the workplace is safe and adheres to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Food Safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous retail experience.
- Exceptional listening skills and excellent business acumen.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to interact with all stakeholders.
- Strong computer skills and ability to work all retail hours of operation.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to problem solve and network for job efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and influencing skills.
- Reliable transportation.
