Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify clients' life and financial objectives, conduct thorough reviews, and cultivate long-term relationships through financial planning expertise and ongoing support.
  • Perform reporting and relevant analysis, utilizing results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of programs, policies, and practices.
  • Contribute to team and departmental objectives while enhancing customer service and commitment.
  • Monitor service levels, productivity, and efficiency, implementing continuous improvements.
  • Stay informed of best practices and procedures, keeping ahead of emerging trends.
  • Develop and apply expertise, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to colleagues.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Financial planner diploma from the Institute of Financial Planning (IPF) required prior to commencement.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required prior to commencement.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in banking.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CIRO license preferred (to be obtained within the first 90 days in the role).
  • Completion of the Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within the first 90 days in the role.
  • Completion of Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within the first 30 months in the role.
  • In-depth understanding of the industry, competitive landscape, and economic market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and work independently, providing assistance and building relationships.
