Job Summary

Walser Contracting Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods across the country.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods across the country, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of transportation, including logs, manifests, and delivery receipts.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and improve driving skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience as a truck driver
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of long-haul driving
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a variable schedule, including overtime. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
