Position Overview: Metal Polishing Support Specialist

Vaughan Metal Polishing Limited is seeking a dedicated Metal Polishing Support Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and finish of our metal products.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Completion of secondary school
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize metal cleaning machinery to eliminate excess welds, rust, scale, and other contaminants from metal surfaces.
  • Safely transport items across the facility using powered equipment.
  • Manually handle raw materials, finished goods, and tools throughout the plant.
  • Submerge metal items in appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Assist skilled tradespeople including structural steel fitters, sheet metal workers, and machine operators.
  • Sort and categorize metal sheets, parts, scrap, and other materials.
  • Employ hand tools to grind or chip away excess metal from products.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machinery and work areas.
  • Load and unload materials from vehicles.
  • Achieve a mirror finish on metal products through polishing.
  • Interpret and follow work orders accurately.
