Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our aftercare team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and diagnose plumbing systems and components in commercial, institutional, and residential buildings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
  • Complete work reports in a timely manner and provide proper mechanical recommendations on equipment service intervals.
  • Repair and maintain plumbing systems, including cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements
  • 4-5 years of plumbing experience.
  • Red Seal Certification, Plumbing (Class B Gas ticket is a plus).
  • Full understanding of drawings and specifications for Mechanical, Architectural, and Structural with the ability to coordinate with other disciplines.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficient in material take-off and material procurement.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, manuals, and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to train and mentor apprentices and young journeypersons.
  • Understanding of sub-trade's scope, scheduling, and interference.
  • Ability to communicate with homeowners, developers, and general contractors in a professional manner.
