Job Title: Plumbing Specialist

Lambert Plumbing & Heating Ltd. is seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems. Prepare tenders and quotations, and instruct apprentices as needed.
  • Pipe Fitting and Joining: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors. Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, and join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, and determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Supervision and Estimation: Supervise other workers, estimate costs and materials, and operate CADD and other computer software systems.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
  • Certifications: Plumber Red Seal Certificate.
  • Transportation: Vehicle supplied by employer, valid driver's license.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication.
