About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fabricator to join our team at Osco Construction. As a Steel Fabricator, you will be responsible for the position, alignment, and fitting of structural metal or steel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine material requirements and task sequences using shop drawings
  • Mark reference points on workpieces using measuring devices, squares, chalk, or soapstone
  • Lift or move steel materials into position using overhead cranes
  • Regular use of jigs, welding torches, and hand tools

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment college program or equivalent experience
  • Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification (Block 1)
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in structural steel fabricating
