Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Operations Manager to join our team at Greatland Farms LTD. as a Farm Workers Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Agricultural Crop Services: Oversee and coordinate the provision of high-quality agricultural crop services, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
  • Supervise Farm Workers: Coordinate and supervise a team of general farm workers and harvesting laborers to ensure efficient and effective farm operations.
  • Ensure Farm Safety: Implement and maintain farm safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production records and quality control measures to optimize crop yields and minimize waste.
  • Program Oversight: Oversee breeding and livestock-related programs to ensure the health and well-being of animals and the quality of crops.
  • Operational Supervision: Supervise crop-related operations, including planting, harvesting, and post-harvest activities.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative tasks, including maintaining work records and logs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as agriculture, horticulture, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in agriculture or a related field.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, team player, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30-40 hours per week.
