Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Hamel's Meats (2015) Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the food service department, including food preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Supervise a team of food service staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food products.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stocking of food and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Develop and implement menus, specials, and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu items are prepared to the highest standards and presented in an appealing manner.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in food service or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and vendors.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform other duties as required.
