Assistant Professor Position in General Economics

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Professor in General Economics to join our faculty at the University of Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in economics, as well as conducting research in the field of general economics.
Responsibilities:- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in economics, including introductory courses and advanced seminars
- Conduct research in the field of general economics, with a focus on international economics, behavioral economics, econometrics, or applied economics
- Establish an outstanding, competitive, externally funded research program
- Contribute to the intellectual life of the department through participation in seminars, workshops, and other academic activities
- PhD in Economics or related area by the time of appointment, or shortly thereafter
- Demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching in economics
- Strong research and teaching interests in general economics, with a focus on international economics, behavioral economics, econometrics, or applied economics
