We are currently seeking a Part-Time Yard / Drive-Thru Associate to join our team.

The services we provide to our customers include ensuring that our product displays are secure and accessible. We assist clients with selecting and loading their products. To fulfill these responsibilities, we require team members who enjoy physical tasks and manual labor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations while executing job duties.
  • Load and unload customer vehicles, operate forklifts, and utilize other material handling equipment.
  • Gather materials for customer orders, assemble items, and package them appropriately for pickup or shipment.
  • Notify your direct supervisor of any inventory discrepancies and any damaged or defective materials that could affect customer service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workplace by disposing of empty cartons, metal banding, pallets, and other debris.
  • Report any safety concerns within the warehouse and lumber yard to your supervisor.
  • Assist customers as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years or older to receive equipment and forklift training.
  • Completion of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and strong verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to develop extensive product knowledge.
  • Willingness to learn to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts with varying schedules.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read invoices and product return documentation.
