**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Journalist to join our team at Bell. As a key member of our news department, you will be responsible for creating engaging content for our digital platforms.

**Responsibilities**

  • Develop and produce high-quality news content, including scripts, narration, and video editing.
  • Conduct daily research to identify original story ideas, with a focus on local stories.
  • Collaborate with our editorial team to plan and execute news coverage.
  • Utilize IP technologies to transmit and edit video content remotely.
  • Participate in live reporting and present news bulletins as needed.
  • Make editorial decisions and take ownership of content creation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the local market, including business leaders, politicians, and community organizations.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of news shoots and editing sessions.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

**Requirements**

  • Degree in Journalism or related field, or equivalent experience in news and sports.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong editorial judgment.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including iNews and Canadian Press style guidelines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
