Our Mission
The First Nations Health Authority is a pioneering health organization dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of First Nations communities in British Columbia. As a trusted partner, we work collaboratively with over 200 diverse First Nations communities to deliver high-quality health services and promote cultural safety.

Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as our Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will bring a track record of successful senior leadership experience, preferably in a similar sized organization, and a deep understanding of First Nations health and wellbeing practices.

Key Responsibilities
As CEO, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive health strategy that addresses the unique needs of First Nations communities
  • Leading a team of dedicated professionals to deliver high-quality health services and programs
  • Fostering strong relationships with First Nations communities, stakeholders, and partners to advance our mission
  • Ensuring the organization's financial sustainability and growth

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong track record of senior leadership experience in a similar sized organization
  • Expertise in non-profit management and knowledge of healthcare developments
  • Knowledge of First Nations health and wellbeing practices and cultural safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
