Human Resources Co-Op Student Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-Op Student to join our Human Resources team at Trans Mountain. As a Co-Op Student, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-paced team, supporting a variety of HR functions and collaborating with leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and administer HR policies, programs, and procedures, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and communication.
  • Assist with recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and reference checks.
  • Provide administrative support for onboarding and off-boarding of contractors and employees.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for contractor set up and closeout.
  • Participate in HR projects as identified.
Qualifications and Professional Experience:
  • Enrolled in a Business Administration or related program, ideally with a focus on Human Resources.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
