Job Title: IT Risk/Data Specialist

ProViso Staffing is seeking an experienced IT Risk/Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership across a broad range of data analysis functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized end-to-end BI support and analytics for the business/function and/or projects/initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, visually compelling PowerPoint presentations and reports for use in corporate communications, executive briefings, and partner presentations.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate data, charts, graphs, and written content into presentations, simplifying complex concepts for a diverse audience.
  • Responsible for tracking and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Operational Metrics, and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to measure and drive organizational performance.
  • Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support data-driven decision-making within the organization.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years as an IT Risk Specialist with relevant experience in governance, risk and compliance management within regulated industries.
  • IT governance experience in information security and controls risk frameworks (i.e., ITIL, NIST, COBIT).
  • Knowledge and experience with various lifecycle methodologies/frameworks, i.e., Agile, Project Management, IT Processes, Risk Management frameworks and process/operations.
  • GRC background and tools (e.g. RSA Archer, Open Pages, etc.)
  • Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Power BI).
  • Experience with various programming, data transformation, and database technologies (e.g. MS Access and SQL Queries, Python, Azure, Data Analytics, Power Suite, Advanced Excel).
  • CRISC and/or CISSP certification or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Information Security or technology risk and controls background in a financial industry a plus.
