We are on the lookout for a Manufacturing Associate to join our Viennoiserie team at our production facility. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of responsibilities including sorting, inspecting, and packaging products.

Position Overview:

  • Daytime hours
  • Two positions available:
  • 1st Position: Week 1 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday / Week 2 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
  • 2nd Position: Week 1 - Thursday, Friday, Saturday / Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Compensation: Starting at $16.50/hour, with an increase to $17.50/hour after a three-month period

Additional Compensation: Evening - $0.75/hour, Night Shift - $1.50/hour, Weekend - $1.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tools and machinery for operation
  • Sort and categorize products
  • Conduct sampling procedures
  • Package items into cartons
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Ensure adherence to quality and productivity benchmarks
  • Troubleshoot production line issues
  • Document any irregularities
  • Follow health and safety regulations
  • Perform various tasks as required
  • Guarantee product integrity

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in food manufacturing is preferred
  • Ability to lift weights up to 22.7 kg
  • Comfortable working in a chilled environment
  • Good manual skills
  • Dependable, adaptable, and self-sufficient
  • Strong collaborator
  • Eagerness to learn new tasks
