About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Intermediate to Senior Bridge Project Manager to join our Transportation Structures Department in Calgary, AB. Our Western Canada Bridge Group has seen substantial growth, and we are looking for experienced engineers to enhance our capabilities and provide exceptional services to our clients across Alberta and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project management and design management for bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and foundation engineering projects.
  • Conduct analysis, design, prepare tender packages, perform visual inspections, and prepare reports and cost estimates.
  • Assist in proposal preparation and foster client relationships.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a P.Eng. designation with APEGA or eligibility for transfer.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the Bridge Consulting Engineering sector.
  • A Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to manage quality, budget, schedule, and technical deliverables throughout all phases of bridge projects.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Familiarity with CHBDC and Alberta Transportation design standards is beneficial.
  • Experience with CSiBridge, SAP2000, Midas, SFrame, AutoCAD, and similar software is an asset.
  • Experience in D/B or P3 projects is a plus.
  • Experience in the role of Contract Administrator for bridge construction projects is desirable.
