Join our team at Deb's Auto Collision & Sales LTD as an Automotive Body Technician. This is a permanent position offering a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. We are looking for candidates with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

The work environment can be described as dusty, noisy, and odorous, typical of an automotive repair shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and estimate repair costs for various vehicles.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to determine repair needs.
  • Plan and execute repair work efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process.
  • Perform test drives to ensure vehicle functionality post-repair.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Guide and instruct apprentices in repair techniques.
  • Replace damaged components as necessary.
  • Utilize tools to file, grind, and sand body surfaces.
  • Prepare surfaces by masking and taping before repairs.
  • Address defects by hammering them out.
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to restore appearance.
  • Repair or replace various vehicle components.
  • Mix paint and match colors for accurate finishes.
  • Operate soldering equipment for repairs.
  • Straighten vehicle frames to restore structural integrity.
