Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Design and develop comprehensive training curricula for aviation maintenance courses, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Instructional Delivery: Deliver training sessions to students, utilizing approved instructional techniques and ensuring a safe and secure learning environment.
  • Lesson Planning: Prepare, maintain, and revise lesson plans and student study materials in accordance with current technical publications and approved guidelines.
  • Activity Design: Create engaging and interactive activities to support student learning and retention.
  • Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students, including advising on performance and proctoring exams.
  • Course Administration: Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance, and prepare course reports as required.
Requirements
  • Bilingualism: Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.
  • Education and Experience: A degree in a relevant field, such as aviation maintenance or a related field, and a minimum of three years of experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field.
  • Instructional Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in instructional or teaching roles, preferably in an adult education environment.
Additional Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Secret level.
  • On-Site Work: Willingness to work on-site at Canadian Forces Base Borden.
