Job Overview:

The Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service in a courteous, knowledgeable, and professional manner. This position focuses on achieving excellence in pharmacy operations, including customer service, workflow management, and inventory oversight. The Technician is also responsible for identifying and coordinating professional clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager in the daily functions of the Pharmacy Department.
  • Monitor pharmacy inventory by ordering, receiving, and managing supplies.
  • Facilitate customer prescription pick-up and assist in the preparation and compounding of medications.
  • Handle third-party adjudication processes.
  • Perform blister packing of medications.
  • Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience with Kroll software is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
