Position Summary
Emory University Orthopedics & Spine Hospital (EUOSH) has received Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), showcasing our commitment to nursing excellence, collaboration, and outstanding patient care. Our inpatient nursing team actively participates in a Unit Practice Council, emphasizing shared governance in decision-making processes.
EUOSH specializes in addressing the orthopedic surgical requirements of our patients. Our surgical offerings include:
- Major Joint Replacements (hip, knee, and shoulder)
- Minimally Invasive Orthopedic Procedures
- Hip Resurfacing Techniques
- Spine Surgical Interventions
- Spinal Fusion Procedures
- Scoliosis and Spine Deformity Corrections
- Artificial Disc Replacement for the Spine
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with at least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years, or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
- Possession of a valid, active, and unencumbered nursing license or a temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- BLS certification is mandatory, and ACLS certification may be required in specific departments.
- Exceptions apply for individuals currently employed as LPNs within the EHC system who complete an accredited RN program and obtain RN licensure while progressing through the Resident program.
